COPPER # 1

Berry, is a premium grade of high-purity copper scrap consisting of bare, bright, clean, untinned, uncoated, and unalloyed copper wire. Recognized for its exceptional conductivity and high copper content, this material is one of the most valuable copper scrap grades in the recycling industry.

Berry copper typically includes clean copper wire and tubing that is free from insulation, paint, solder, excessive oxidation, and brittle or burnt wire. Due to its purity, Copper #1 requires minimal processing before being remelted and reused in the production of new copper products.

Copper Birch Cliff

COPPER # 2

Birch, is a widely traded grade of recyclable copper scrap consisting of miscellaneous unalloyed copper materials with a nominal copper content of approximately 96%, and a minimum copper content of 94% as determined by electrolytic assay.

This grade typically includes copper wire, tubing, and other copper-bearing materials that may contain slight oxidation, discoloration, or minor attachments, but remain suitable for recycling and remelting. To meet industry specifications, Copper #2 should be free from excessively leaded, tinned, or soldered copper, as well as brass and bronze wire, excessive oil, iron, insulation, ash, and other non-metallic contaminants. Burnt, brittle, or heavily contaminated copper materials are generally not acceptable.

YELLOW BRASS

Yellow Brass, commonly known as Honey, is a high-quality non-ferrous scrap grade consisting of mixed yellow brass solids. This material typically includes brass castings, rolled brass, rod brass, brass tubing, and various yellow brass components, including plated brass items.

Valued for its excellent recyclability and high copper-zinc content, Yellow Brass is widely used by foundries, smelters, and manufacturers in the production of new brass products and industrial components. The material is carefully sorted to ensure consistency and maximum metal recovery during the recycling process.

Red Brass

RED BRASS

Red Brass, commonly known as Ebony, is a premium-grade non-ferrous scrap material composed primarily of copper, tin, zinc, and lead alloys. This valuable scrap category typically includes red brass castings, valves, machinery bearings, fittings, and various industrial and mechanical components recovered from manufacturing, plumbing, and engineering applications.

Due to its high copper content and excellent casting properties, Red Brass is widely used by foundries and metal recyclers as a reliable source of raw material for producing new brass products. The material offers excellent recyclability, durability, and corrosion resistance, making it highly sought after in the metal recycling industry.

BRASS RADIATORS

Brass Radiators, commonly known as Ocean, are a valuable grade of non-ferrous scrap consisting primarily of mixed brass and copper automobile radiators recovered from vehicles and industrial equipment. Due to their high copper and brass content, these radiators are widely sought after by recyclers, smelters, and metal processors.

This scrap category typically includes used automotive radiators that have reached the end of their service life and are collected for metal recovery. To meet industry specifications, the material must be free from aluminium radiators and iron-finned radiators. Any iron attachments or components are generally subject to weight deductions during the grading and purchasing process.

Harness Wires

HARNESS WIRES

Harness Wires consist of electrical wiring harnesses primarily recovered from automobiles, trucks, machinery, and other equipment. These assemblies contain multiple insulated copper wires bundled together and are widely recycled for their valuable copper content

INSULATED COPPER WIRES

Insulated Copper Wires, commonly known as Druid, consist of high-quality copper wire covered with various types of insulation materials. This grade typically includes unalloyed copper wire that is clean, uncoated beneath the insulation, and commonly used in electrical, telecommunications, and industrial applications.

The material generally contains copper wire not smaller than No. 16 B&S (Brown & Sharpe) gauge, although alternative wire sizes may be accepted based on mutual agreement between the buyer and seller. Due to the presence of insulation, the value of this scrap is often determined by the recoverable copper content after processing.
