ALUMINIUM

Aluminium is a lightweight, silvery-white metal known for its strength, durability, and excellent corrosion resistance. As one of the most abundant metals on Earth, aluminium plays a vital role in industries such as transportation, construction, packaging, aerospace, and manufacturing.

Aluminium scrap is recovered from a wide range of sources, including automotive components, building materials, beverage cans, industrial equipment, electrical systems, and consumer products. Due to its exceptional recyclability, aluminium can be melted and reused repeatedly without losing its original properties, making it one of the most sustainable metals available.

While pure aluminium is relatively soft, it is often combined with elements such as copper, magnesium, manganese, silicon, and zinc to create high-performance alloys with enhanced strength and durability. At Venus Metal Recyclers, we supply premium-quality Aluminium Scrap that meets international industry standards and supports efficient, environmentally responsible recycling and manufacturing processes worldwide.

Radiators

RADIATORS

Radiators are essential cooling components used in vehicles, machinery, and industrial equipment to regulate temperature and ensure efficient operation. In the recycling industry, radiator scrap commonly includes aluminium radiators, copper-brass radiators, aluminium-copper radiators (ACRs), and copper fin radiators.

These units are typically recovered from cars, trucks, forklifts, heavy equipment, and other vehicles. Most modern automotive radiators are constructed from aluminium and may feature plastic end tanks, while older models often contain valuable copper and brass components. Their primary function is to transfer heat away from engines and mechanical systems through circulating coolant.

ACSR / IAW CABLES

ACSR (Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced) and IAW (Insulated Aluminium Wire) cables are widely used in power transmission, distribution networks, and industrial electrical applications. These materials consist of aluminium conductors combined with steel reinforcement or insulation, providing strength, durability, and efficient electrical conductivity.

ACSR scrap is composed of aluminium strands wrapped around a steel core, offering high tensile strength for overhead power lines and utility infrastructure. IAW scrap includes insulated aluminium wire recovered from electrical systems, construction projects, and industrial installations.

Aluminium Painted Sidings

ALUMINIUM PAINTED SIDINGS

Aluminium Painted Sidings consist of clean, low-copper aluminium scrap sourced primarily from building exteriors, construction materials, renovation projects, and industrial applications. The material may be painted on one or both sides and is widely valued in the recycling industry for its high aluminium content and excellent recovery potential.

This grade of scrap is commonly generated from aluminium siding panels, cladding systems, architectural components, and other coated aluminium products. To meet industry specifications, the material must be free from plastic coatings, iron, excessive corrosion, dirt, foam, fiberglass backing, fiber materials, and other non-metallic contaminants.

TOUGH TABOO

Tough Taboo is a premium grade of low-copper aluminium scrap consisting of new, clean, uncoated, and unpainted aluminium materials from two or more alloy series. This high-quality scrap is widely used by aluminium smelters and manufacturers due to its excellent metal recovery value and consistent composition.

The material typically includes aluminium sheet and production offcuts with a minimum thickness of 0.015 inches (0.38 mm). To meet industry specifications, Tough Taboo scrap must be free from 2000 and 7000 series alloys, hair wire, wire screen, small punchings, dirt, and other non-metallic contaminants. Additionally, oil and grease content should not exceed 1%.
